SEED & SOUND

The first existing sound in the Universe was AUM. It was like the seed for all of Creation. The voice of God. 

Bija means seed. The Bija mantras are one-syllable seed sounds that, when said aloud, activate the energy of the chakras in order to purify & balance the mind & body. When you speak the bija mantras, you resonate with the energy of the associated chakra, helping you focus upon your own instinctive awareness of your body & its needs. 

Let us see the body as the first instrument. The voice is the sound of the instrument. Resonance of sound is like radiance of our body. By singing or toning our body switches into a different frequency. All sound is made by vibrations. Sound is what is heard when sound waves (vibrations) pass through the ear. Sound is measured in frequency. And Hertz (Hz) is the measurement we use.

The most known frequency in sound healing is the frequency of the heart 432 HZ. HZ means UNIT OF FREQUENCY. Music based on 432Hz transmits beneficial healing energy, because it is a pure tone of math fundamental to nature. 

Every planet, is moving and so represanting a frequency.

As we know from different emotions, our body is shaking, especially the sexual organs are supposed to reach the highest frequency. (http://greatdreams.com/hertz.htm)

So if we are surrounded by sound, it is changing our blood system, especially water in our body, which is responsable for our emotions.

Even more powerful than listening is voice activation. Coming back to the sounding of bija.

There are different types of Mantras. One of them, is called BIJA, which means SEED. A mantra that resonates with the wisdom that says within the seed is contained all the knowledge of the fully grown tree. So, when you plant such a seed within your consciousness, over and over and over again, your soul awakens and you are given your destiny. MA for example stands for Earth, it is sometimes also the first word spoken by a baby. NAM is vibration. Also known as "name" or "identity". This if one of the most powerful seeds in the Gurmuki language. It is the end of the Mool Mantra, SAT NAM.

The seed is the identity of truth embodied in a dense form- the truth of your soul. Chanting this mantra balances the five elements (tattvas), awakens the soul and brings your destiny present. When chanting a seed (Bij) mantra the seed of the sound is planted in the unconscious. Sat is truth. Naam is our vibrational identity, what we vibrate we become. “Sat Naam is the Bij or seed mantra. It is small and potent. Great things grow from it. If it is not written in your destiny to be with God and know your higher consciousness, this mantra engraves it in your destiny.” – Yogi Bhajan As a great master said when asked how to become enlightened, stay where you are. The experience of Yoga (union) with the divine consciousness happens within YOU. When you align with your highest truth with your Sat, and vibrate in this identity, Nam, it all comes to you.

Emotions, physical health, & mental clarity affect how well each chakra can filter energy. This in turn dictates how pure the energy is that’s emitted from different regions of the body. In traditional Hatha Yoga, the 7 cleansing bija mantras associated with the chakras are:

For giving roots to a project we are using the bija LAM.  

For working out the creative potential of the vision we are using the bija VAM.

For giving it power to manifest, to find the right channel to receive audience, we are using the bija RAM.

If the "lower triangle" is worked out the project is flowing by the interconnections with the followers, therefore using YAM.

For purity in communication with suppliers, cooperators, partners the bija HAM is useful.

For making it flowing and growing, spread it out to the whole wolrd with AUM.
